I gotta admit: I'm not a big fan of fish or seafood. I know both are good for you, so I'm doing my best to add more here and there.
The one seafood I am a fan of is shrimp, so using a coupon I received for a free SeaPak entree was a no-brainer. I chose the Shrimp Scampi because I am a BIG FAN of shrimp whether it be with butter & garlic, seasoning shrimp or just plain shrimp with some cocktail sauce. I am in-love!!! So I decided to make linguine pasta with the shrimp & it turned out so good :) YUM my husband ate it all & I had some as well & my son he's not really a fan of shrimp or anything, but he did like the pasta.
The Shrimp Scampi provides 180 mg of omega 3 fatty acids (a big reason to down more fish and seafood, I'm told). I have to be honest, though, and mention that because it's made with (real) butter, the Shrimp Scampi does have a fairly high fat content -- 32g per serving -- with 13 of that being saturated but 0g trans fat. But I would have fared far worse ordering a pizza or burger when I wanted a quick meal ... and it likely wouldn't have tasted as good.
If you're looking for a quick and yummy meal, consider picking up some SeaPak Shrimp Scampi (about $5.99). Or choose from their other seafood products, available in the freezer section of most supermarkets.
You can find out more before heading to the store -- including picking out a recipe or two -- on the SeaPak website.
