My husband is a big fan of beef jerky and I wanted to get him something more that was different from the rest. I haven't heard of Brooklyn Biltong so I wanted to give them a try. I received 2 2oz Original packages of Biltong. It's 100% Beef and it's the South Africa's version which is pretty interesting. Each batch given is handcrafted using grass fed beef. Now for myself I'm not really a beef jerky fan so I wouldn't even try it, but my husband seemed to enjoy it. I actually brought this with me as a snack for him cause I had surgery the other day and he snacked on these and I asked him are they any good, and he said yeah. I told him I got them for a review. They have no artificial preservatives, no corn syrups and also zero sugars. They are Paleo friendly and offically Whole30 approved! I love foods that have great benefits and healthy snacking😊

Granola bars are a really great alternative snack my family likes them and I love them. When I'm usually on the go I'll pop one in my bag to save for a snack or an early morning breakfast if I don't have time to eat a normal breakfast that day. Although I am very picky with what flavors I have because I only really like ones that have chocolate chips in them or peanut butter. With that being said I received two boxes of Sunbelt Bakery granola bars. I was sent the Dark Chocolate Chunk & Almond Sweet & Salty. I am familiar with the dark chocolate chunk which has been my favorite so far. I haven't heard of the Almond one, but my husband seems to really like them. We like assortment of nuts on a daily basis too so the granola one with that was really great to try.

I really love the fact that each granola bar taste really fresh and they have no preservatives. It's always nice to know those things. The taste is great and nice and chewy. These are the perfect size for anyone even your children.

I received a case of Boxed Water to review on my blog. I never really heard of Boxed Water before so this is my first time hearing about it and trying it for that matter. I love my water I am always drinking water and have it with me wherever I go. I was a bit skeptical at first because I've heard drinking water from a product like this in a carton that it taste like a carton which my husband said that he tasted the cardboard box taste and he said he didn't like it at all.

Now do I really know if it's really better boxed or not. I don't think so in my opinion. It doesn't taste like regular water that I am used to drinking, so for some others that like it is totally fine we all have different opinions and everyone's aren't going to be the same in this case. Maybe if I try it different and put some ice cause sometimes I like my water ice ice cold. I could always try and put it in a glass and drink it that way, but not out of the box not sure if that will really make a different, but I will try it.

Fake Bake is a leader in the self-tanning industry and celebrity fan favorite. Fake Bake gives an instant sun-kissed colour and develops into a long lasting sunless fake tan by combining naturally derived tanning agents DHA and Erythulose guaranteeing longer lasting (up to 50% longer), more natural-looking results.

I received some products from Fake Bake to review on my blog. I received the Airbrush & Original. I love being tan. I used to do some tanning in the tanning beds in the past and it just didn't really do me justice and heard they weren't really good for your skin, can cause cancer, etc. I stopped doing that and it got pretty expensive at times, so I heard of Fake Bake and wanted to try some products plus I've read some reviews and thought I'd be a good fit for this product.

Even thought it takes time putting on self tanner it is worth it in the end. You'll want to get everything together what you need and I suggest using the gloves I wanted to see if the product was a clear gel or dark and I was right it was dark. Most tanners I use are light and or clear. When using the gloves you'll want to spread evenly on your body. I first do my legs then my arms depending what I am wearing that day I'll do part of my chest near my neck and above my breast area. Also attend some on my face and then I'll have my husband do some on my shoulders on the back and half of my back. I don't normally rub all over because it's not that I have a slim figure and I don't need to show off skin that much which is better for me because people who can do the full body would look better on them if they show skin in my opinion.

It does dry fast, and I really like that it also gives a nice tan and don't put to much on at first because it'll give a orange residue and you won't want that. You'll learn as you go if your new to putting tanner on. I think it's the best way possible going this route, others may not think so and that is okay. We all have different opinions.

I was also sent the Tinted Body Glow "travel size" which I am happy I can take with my on my Cruise in February. I did use a tiny bit on my arm to see what it looks like and it moisturizes with a golden shimmer and it's just perfect and if you rub a quarter size amount on your hand and rub it in it should be enough for your arms but make sure you spread evenly so you get that perfect layer on your body to get that natural skin tone. I even would apply some to my face as well by only adding a little bit. I love glow it looks great on people.

Nutrisystem Follow Up, Week Two #NSNation #ad

Hello! I survived another week of my Nutrisystem from when we talked last from my Week One. I was extremely happy to look forward to being done with week one, because it meant to me that I got to try new foods and add in my extras and eat a little bit more. I got to add dairy and whole grain foods also fruit which I love.

I will post some pictures of my food of what my days consisted of each day and you can see what type of foods I was eating. The nutrisystem sausage, egg & cheese muffin was really delicious. I never really ate stuff like this for breakfast but trying this was really good and kept me full. I did have a rough week mentally and physically because of my anxiety/depression. I wasn't taken my medicine for like a few days and that leads to extreme depression so I would mostly sleep most days and not really eat and if I did it would be ice cream/junk food. I had to get out of that faze real fast! When it gets to lunch time I do slip a little because I am learning as I go this is all new to me and I try to stay to the main diet and if I don't I add a extra snack in but a healthy one like a smoothie I make on my own with fruits and make them into a Popsicle. Something like that cause I need that extra sweetness to my diet. Not to much but just enough.

 Stuffed Shells I had for dinner one night for Day 1 - Really delicious and the perfect portion size with me. I did have some asparagus on the side with the stuffed shells.

I'm drinking my 64 ounces of water every day, which I knew I could do because water is a big part of me. I love water and take it everywhere I go. I just always have water on hand it's my go to all the time except for breakfast just a tad bit to early to drink water LOL. If some of you aren't water drinkers I suggestion adding some lemon and start putting in some orange slices in it to add flavor it may help for some of you, and I hear it's pretty good! My mother in law likes to add stuff like that in hers as well. 

The Sweetened O's Cereal was amazing just reminded me of Honey Nut Cheerios. I did however add about 1/3 of them in there because this cereal tasted a little dry for me, not gonna lie. It tasted very good together I still got enough with my orange for my breakfast. I seemed to only get some shots of my breakfast which I am just realizing now but will try to take more pictures my week three. I've been getting better at my routine for my weight loss although it's been hard. I'm learning as I go along and reading other peoples journey as well.

 I believe this was the Chicken Enchilada with Mexican rice which was really delicious. A bit spicy but good. I don't think I will be getting this next because it was just a bit spicy for me.

This is another different muffin sandwich which was really good to but the sausage is my favorite. This is the Canadian turkey with egg & cheese. Very tender and delicious when you bite into it. I really love these sandwiches and it gives me a better view with breakfast. It's very easy for me to get full quicker because I'm not used to eating 6 meals a day, but getting the hang of it as I go along. I also don't always take pictures of my food too, so you may see me skip a day or two don't worry I didn't skip eating just didn't post a picture😊

For the best part of this week I also got to add dessert which I love. My weakness is Ice Cream and when I had chose on my plan of meals Brownie Sundae I thought it was a type of brownie to eat not ice cream so I was extremely happy. I was craving ice cream too. I fell in love it taste just like real ice cream that I like.

 I guess I didn't know it was ice cream because it didn't say cup at the end just chocolate brownie sundae so I thought that was funny, but also good on my end because I love ice cream. I can also add in cheese I love string cheese I usually eat that with my son because we love to peel the string down it's just something me and him do he thinks it's funny to eat it like that. Nutrisystem has given me the chance to fall in love with there foods and I can't wait to see what more is to come and try there delicious foods. Some of them ended up being my favorites. Like the melts for lunch I really love them they are good and actually really better then the hot pockets in my opinion.

Nutrisystem's Turbo Takeoff Follow Up, Week One #NSNation #ad

Well friends, I've made it through my first week! I'm so proud of myself because within the first week of Nutrisystem Turbo Takeoff I've heard it is the most hardest week ever because as your food intake is very limited. I am a human being and I love to eat, but before I was only eating Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner plus a snack. With Nutrisystem you eat 6-7 meals daily. Turbo Takeoff included the following for my week which was 7 days of breakfast, lunches, dinners & a box of Turboshakes and a box of NutriCrush shakes. I had to start my day off with a breakfast entree within an hour of waking up (which was okay because I usually get my son up around 7 for school).

 

 My Turbo Takeoff supply box that I received! Everything looked really good and delicious.

 

So, as I get back to the daily plan for the day

 

2-3 hours later have your Turboshake.

2-3 hours later have your lunch entree with two of your four non-starchy veggies.

2-3 hours later have a Nutricrush Shake for your afternoon snack.

2-3 hours later have dinner with your other two non-starchy veggie servings.

 

This was my every day meal plan as it was my first time. I had a little bit getting used to everything and the 2-3 hours intake as well. It was a bit hard for me at first, but I managed and got through the day, days as it got better for me.

 

 The Turboshakes were really good I added in a half banana with mine because I honestly didn't like the taste at first. I'm not gonna lie but adding that half of banana really helped me like it much more. I also used Almond milk instead of water just because I don't really like using water with my shakes at all. I just think it taste weird to me anyways that is my honest opinion.

 

One of my meals throughout the week I enjoyed the Dinner "black bean and polenta enchilada with white meat chicken" it was a bit spicy but really good and the chicken was really tender as well. I enjoyed it and liked it a lot. The different meals were getting used to but overall was a huge success for me throughout my week which was very surprising.

As for the breakfast meals they were very small, but I knew I wasn't going to starve because I was going to have a shake 2 later. The double chocolate chip muffin I had one day for breakfast and it was really good. The muffin was mini & petite it was really cute and really delicious. Breakfast bars were really good too. I enjoyed them a lot.

Lunch, I think I struggled a bit because I wasn't really used to eating a small portioned lunch or before I would sometimes skip a lunch and just snack on something and then go right to dinner because I was usually not hungry at the time and would be more hungry around 3pm when my son came home from school, so I had a big adjustment to change.

As for exercise I didn't really do anything much besides walk around the house a bit and was constantly doing something whether it be cleaning the house, vacuuming and doing laundry.

I've have been noticing a change in my sleep though as I have been going to bed a lot earlier then normal and been getting up in the middle of the night but eventually going back to sleep which is a process for me because I would usually get up when I have to get my son up for school and then go back to sleep until maybe like 1pm it wasn't good. My sleep pattern was all messed up, but lately since I've been on Nutrisystem I have to say there is quite a change in that and I am very pleased because I wouldn't like to nap throughout the day because I'd be so wide awake around 2-3am it was awful. So a big thumbs up to that. I'm happy and excited what my next week challenges will be.

I had gotten these for a friend because her little girl was still in diapers and still slowly trying to learn to go on the potty and just needed an extra help througout the day, so I thought these might have helped her transition into her daytime routine of bed wetting when she would take naps or just simple day to day running around and getting used to going on the big girl potty.

These have helped a bit during the day as she was slowly using undies while having these over-top just in case she is a pretty demanding girl so everything has to go her way or no way, lol. She knows best and is a brilliant little 3 year old.

It's realistic looking and looks like the real thing. The shapes of everything look and feel just like the real thing. No mess, so it's very convenient.

I received a product called Guidecraft Grippies® Builders to review on my blog. A good friend of mine I was babysitting for a couple of months I got these for him to use while I have him. He was 7 months at the time when we used these grippies which are actually pretty entertaining for a 7 month old. They come with 20 pieces and 4 soft matte textures in bright colors.

Jaxson playing with the grippies in his walker. He would be amazed at how they are magnetic and then he really loved the white balls that came with the set as well because he would play with them and bang them together like most babies do. He would always chew on the texture ones with his teeth as he was teething too.

 

 These also help providing introduction to engineering which I don't know how but I guess it's good to learn. In my opinion I it's sort of hard to make something with these Grippies but if you take the time and actually connect more than a 20 piece set it would be more convenient too build something with them.

 

 Jax mainly loved bumping the two grippies together to make noise. As he gets older he will be able to build and stack them on top of each other what I did and showed him and my son Nick. It was fun!

I wanted to try Nutrisystem out a long time ago until an opportunity came my way. I've always had that what if moment about loosing weight, but I never really minded my weight back then because I didn't think I was that big to be honest.

Over the years that have past I wasn't always fit either I was thick and I was okay with that not everyone is potentially afraid of there body figure like myself. I believe when I got pregnant in 2007 that everything became a change because being pregnant and your belly stretching as it does that can be an issue, but I didn't calculate how much I gained or lost because I wasn't that type of person to do that and now I think back and a lot of woman I know calculate everything. 

After having my son I felt okay but not as great because I've gained all that weight and then some eating for two and I didn't really loose any of the baby fat that my son gave me but I am totally okay with that too because my son I love him and I don't know where I'd be with out him, so everything happens for a reason and I don't regret anything or being pregnant at a young age. I was 22 when I had my son. I also have PCOS which is harder to become pregnant again which is something I want. I want a baby and that has been a constant issue as well over time.

2015 . . . I suffer from anxiety/depression and have suffered from that since 2002 so it's been a long journey for me and on medicine, etc. Anyways . . . . My story is a lot to handle and a lot to adjust too I would say, but I am me and I love the way I am some improvement can be to loose weight and I've been trying to take baby steps and to be more motivated at times, but it can be a struggle. I'm not going to lie. I think I gained a few pounds since 2015 I want to say. There was a time within the week and I was just constantly eating some junk food and ice cream which is my weakness. It will take some time, but I am ready to start my weight loss with Nutrisystem and I can't wait for some results even if it's little and just portion my eating and snacking on the right stuff and keeping track of everything I eat.
