In A Pikle Review!

In a Pikle

In 2006, Tamara moved to beautiful Southern Utah and we longed to have something that would keep our long distance friendship alive. In 2007, Marianne surprised Tamara with an unexpected visit for her birthday along with a homemade gift. It was a unique “emergency kit” made out of a hot pad and some snack baggies! Tamara loved it! In fact, it wasn’t long after that she called Marianne with the vision to make and sell these amazing little organizers to other busy moms like us . . . to read more about In A Pikle click here

When I first saw this online website called "In A Pikle" I thought it was so organized and I needed one of them for myself. I think it's pretty dandy and cool. I've never would have thought of having one of these but now I own one and I love it. It's what you would use in your everyday life if something were to happen like a accident on your pants or something ripped and needed a little stitch repair or you had a boo boo on your finger or for your child you have all the necessities to figure something out and get it done.

I chose the Relish Pikle in Gleaming Gold. I also added the wristlet because I thought it would be easier to hold or carry. The products I picked for my Pikle were the following:

  • 3 individually wrapped antibacterial wipes
  • 1 credit card size mirror and floss combo
  • 1 retractable mini scissors
  • 1 mini pen
  • 5 adhesive bandages
  • 1 pill box
  • 1 spot remover pen
  • Toilet seat covers
  • Oil absorbing sheets
Some of the things that I took a picture of that came with my Pikle. They sent me a Complete Starter Kit as well. I know the clippers come in handy a lot. I couldn't find my other pair and I had remembered it came with a nail clipper I was so happy because my nail was really bothering me, so that came in handy at that time.
I think everything in the starter kit is so cute and convenient. Here is the directions I kind of just based my knowledge off of what I knew and assembled myself it was pretty easy and self explanatory.

Here is my Pak & the bundle pouches what it looks like when nothing is in it and assembled to my Pak.

A little video of my review for my "In a Pikle"

I highly recommend all mother's to get one of these they are very handy as you can tell it was for me. I still haven't yet used the toilet seat cover but I will when I am in public places. The bandages are always used by someone or one of my family members or my son of course. I don't really sew or no how to so my mom would probably be a use for this when I have it on me. Everything is just really neat and it's a fun product too. I love the neat idea.

Everything assembled and it's bulky as you can see I have a picture of the inside too.

Everything stuffed in my pikle. It will get much needed use.

Kamedis Dermatology Review & Giveaway!

Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post. I received complimentary products for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Kamedis®

Kamedis specializes in botanical skincare, providing dermatologist tested, effective skincare products for a variety of skin conditions including dry skin, scaly skin & scalp, itchy skin, and dandruff.

I've never really had any concerns until I got into my mid 30's and my scalp has been really irritated lately with itching not sure why or how that even came about, but I never really went to my dermatologist for anything because knowing me I would think it would go away or something. I wanted to try these products to help with that problem. I got sent the Dandruff Therapy Shampoo & Scalp Lotion to review on my blog.

I have been using these products for a good month so far and so far so good. I was more so experiencing a itchy scalp more then anything. It has been really nice to not have to itch for a bit for me. My hair is lovely and free of itchiness. As I was using the product it felt really nourishing for me and comfort towards my hair of course.

The texture of the Scalp Lotion is naturally vivid green; proof of how concentrated and pure there botanicals really are. I applied it to my scalp and I massaged until absorbed into my scalp. I used while my hair was wet. I may try when it is dry because you can do either or. If your all wondering what "Featured Botanical" is it's Sapindus Mukurossi, commonly called Soapberry is known for its skin-purifying properties to counteract scales & flaky skin. I don't think the scalp lotion did anything for me to be honest. It says that it soothes and relieves itchy and irritated scalp but I just didn't see a difference with this particular product.
Free of steroids, tar, paraben and dyes.

NJ Lottery for Holidays: Easy Scratch-Off - Clip Picture Frames!

This is a sponsored post brought to you by The New Jersey Lottery in conjunction with Blog Meets Brand. All opinions are my own.
The New Jersey Lottery has four Holiday themed Scratch-Offs available for the holiday season. The tickets come in different themes and different price points, including $1 Holiday Luck, $2 Holiday Lucky Times 10, $5 Holiday Lucky Bonus, and $10 Winter Wishes. These holiday games will make the perfect gift, stocking stuffer, party favor, etc., for anyone and everyone on your list over the age of 18.

The Holidays are soon approaching and I had every intention of waiting until after Thanksgiving to really think of an idea to make a Christmas Gift out of these Lottery Tickets, but I had the cutest idea when I went to my local Marshall's store over the weekend. I saw these "clip picture frames" and just had to get some of them. I have a huge family and I think these are the best looking gifts for this holiday season. You can hang pictures on them of course but I used the New Jersey Holiday Scratch-Offs in place of the pictures. I hung two on each of them and can't wait to give them out for Christmas.

After Halloween approached everyone automatically put up holiday lights and everything Thanksgiving & Christmas altogether. I thought it was a little odd, but I feel rushed when that time comes and I wish everyone would take their time with the holidays. It's supposed to be cherished and memorable. In my opinion anyways, this is my favorite time of year!

Holiday Scratch-Offs are a perfect gift to give, especially if youre a last minute shopper like myself. Don't forget to pick up a few Holiday Scratch-Offs for yourself and your loved ones.

What would you do if you won on a NJ Lottery Holiday Scratch Off ticket?
OR
How would you assemble your Holiday Scratch Offs this Holiday Season?

These Holiday Scratch-Off gifts make life much simpler and stress free. To grab some tickets yourself head on over to your nearest lottery retailer like WaWa or 7-11 and purchase this Holiday Season. Don't forget to check out the Million Dollar Replay while youre there. I saved two tickets for myself for a little luck and I won $35.00. If you don't win the first time around, there's still hope! Every non-winning ticket can be entered into the Million Dollar Replay second-chance drawing. Just join the NJ Lottery VIP club to get started entering your tickets, and GOOD LUCK!
