Add a little character to your garden with an easy to grow garden kit for children. Includes everything you need to grow 4 different varieties of herbs or vegetables (seeds vary depending on kit), and when your young gardener goes online and registers their garden, Growums characters come to life and teach how to grow their vegetables and herbs from seed to harvest. Children love to eat food they've grown themselves, even vegetables.

I was sent out the Herb Garden from Growums to review. This garden kit includes 4 different types of seeds (oregano, cilantro, parsley & basil), 8 coco pellets enough to grow 2 of each plant & 8 plant tags. It also includes directions & a fun interactive online experience created especially for you child/children. It makes a great family gift for parents & your child/children to learn & grow different seeding kits such as Pizza Garden, Salad Garden, Taco Garden & Ratatouille Garden. Kids start off by going to the Growums website to register their garden & follow the colorful characters in a virtual garden world that shows them how to care for their veggies. This animated step by step series of mini videos are updated every ten days with tips on what to expect next and how to care for the seeds. With help and info from Tomicio the tomato, Frank Cilantro, Belle Peppa, Ice Berg the lettuce wrapper and of course Elvis Parsley and more in a matter of weeks your child/children will be able to harvest fresh veggies & herbs to create meals. My son took this with him into daycare & was so very excited to share with his fellow classmates. Garden Kits are educational & fun, plus they can help encourage healthy eating habits since kids are more likely to eat food they've grown themselves. My parents grow their own veggies every summer & my son just loves to help my step-dad his pop pop out by watering the veggies each day & he loves picking out the peppers & tomatoes. I think it's a great way to teach kids about growing your own veggies & learning about different stuff along the way.

It's time to take a fresh approach to fundraising - in an easy way that benefits your organization, our planet and the lives of our children
