  1. We have new memories every year. But the best was when my Dad came home form over seas. He surprised us all because we thought he wouldn't be home for Thanksgiving.

  2. As a child, I remember that we never had mashed potatoes. We always had au gratin potatoes that came from a box. With my own family, it has to be mashies.

  3. My best memory for this holiday is my moms homemade chocolate pie with meringue topping. Also pecan pie which is my all time favorite. I usually just bake a turey breast but hey if I win one I will cook it and a breast this year Leftover sandwiches yay!

  7. One of my favorite Thanksgivng memories is when I was young my grandparents used to come to my house on Thanksgiving eve and we would all have a part in make the stuffing for the turkey.

  19. This might sound silly, but is turkey meat taste like chicken meat (or not?). I honestly haven't tasted it.. oh my... turkey is rare in the Philippines.
