It's the month of December and we all know what is coming up "Christmas" YAY my favorite time of year. It's nice to get ready for the holidays and start shopping which is my favorite thing to do. I love to shop and get creative to gift someone a really nice/cool gift. I get a lot of my ideas off Pinterest too. With that being said The New Jersey Lottery is introducing four new NJ Lottery Holiday Scratch Offs -$1 Holiday Luck -$2 Holiday Luck Times -$5 Jingle Bills and $10 Cash in a Flash.

These wonderful Holiday themed scratch off games are really fun for the festive holiday Christmas spirit and they are great to be given as a holiday gift or a Christmas party favor. One of my favorite part of this is there is no wrapping it's a simple already decorative gift to give to someone special.

The best part is you can win a large amount of cash. Now who doesn't love cash! I know I do and my family does too.

I love the holiday and getting together with friends/family for the special celebration. One gift that I think is the best for anyone would be scratch off NJ Lottery Gifts. They make the perfect gift and you can be creative and make a special gift for someone whether it be a co-worker, a friend or a loved one, or if you are hosting a Christmas Party and want to have a few gifts to hand out to guest. I think it would be the perfect gift to give because EVERYONE loves scratch offs!

I made two Holiday DIY projects which I am going to talk about and I made a little video above to show you the Holiday Tree which is in the first picture with the Holiday Gift Guide as well. It's simple and easy to assemble and make.

This was something I had around the house for Christmas decorations so I used this for the first Holiday DIY project. One year for Christmas my family decided to do a Pollyanna which you spend at least $20, $30 or $50 each as a couple and be creative and get something worth that amount that a woman or guy can actually use or do and you write a number 1 through however many people are playing and they pick and whichever # you get you can go first and so forth and the purpose is that someone can steal your gift so it's good to get a later number like #8 if 10 people are playing because you get more chances to see what everyone gets etc and you can steal but you can only steal up to 2x so be careful, but you can use different rules that is just how we did it. I actually chose a gift that looked something like the Christmas Tree I have above with lottery scratch offs which was really cool, so this is why I decided to go with this one. I thought it was creative and it's a nice and cool, but my mom ended up stealing mine and I was mad ha ha, but that was the game so pretty much it was fun for everyone and I think we are doing it again this year.

I have it on my mantel for decoration right now!

The second DIY project I came up with was a center piece I bought at a local store around my town and you can hot glue the bottom of the Christmas Floral center piece to a glass pie dish which I did for it to be easier to move around, etc. Then I bought some candies Rollos and peppermint chocolates and put some around the center piece and then put some NJ Lottery Holiday Scratch Offs on top and near the center piece now this is something I created on my own which I am happy about because it's original and I thought of it on my own so I'm happy and excited about that. 🙂

The Holiday Tree I plan on just giving to my husband since the Tree itself is ours and I would hate to see it go because I love that Holiday Tree for decoration. The other one that I created I want to gift it to someone and maybe I will use that for the Pollyanna this year at my grand pops house. I can't wait. I'm probably going to scratch off some of them each day until Christmas. I love scratch offs myself and get very excited and overly joyed with them because they are fun to play and I like to see the outcome. If I won I would save it for our Cruise in February! Fingers crossed🙂 NJ Lottery Holiday Instant Games make the perfect stocking stuffer!

These Holiday Instant Games are easily accessible at any local Lottery retailer.   (i.e 7-11, Quick Check, Wawa, etc)

  1. I love your idea of the lottery ticket Christmas trees. This post also makes me remember when my mom would put lottery tickets in our stockings growing up. I'll have to do the same with my daughter this year! Thanks for the clever ideas (and the memories!:))

  6. Such a great idea! I attended college thanks to New Mexico's lottery via a scholarship :) My mom actually used to put lottery tickets in our stockings, and now that we've moved away she mails them to us! Such a great gift!

  8. Are the odds good? Here in California the odds on the scratchers went from pretty good to horrible! I used to be able to win almost all the time to hardly never. I stopped buying California Scratchers several years ago because the odds got so bad. I do visit the Pennsauken area about once a year, if the odds are good, I'll have to give it a go the next time I'm out there.

  20. I can only hope your state does better handling the money for education over my state. Sounded like a great idea until government stepped in. Like the idea of your lottery tree.
