I was generous enough to get a copy of Cooper and Me and the Military book to review. This book is a series of children's books written and illustrated by Alexa Peters & she is only 13yrs old with the help from her mother. I think this book is a great way to help children understand and discuss the topics of the military whose parents are out there fighting for our country. My son loved this book & had me read it to him every night & asked questions as a typical 5 yr old would do. All of the Cooper books feature Cooper the Dog and his adventures and antics that teach children about problem solving & working together and about conversation & friendship. It's a very sweet book about two children whose parents are in the Military & how they stay close together through their friend Trooper. It's a wonderful book, especially for military families.
